Rio 62 m is a megayacht that is distinguished by a skillful distribution and enhancement of space, a mirror of the personality of an owner who requested vast, bright indoor and outdoor living areas and a very fluid layout to ensure constant and direct contact with the sea.
Rio is the successful synthesis resulting from the collaboration between CRN Shipyards, which designed and built this 62-meter vessel, and two design and architecture firms: Omega Architects which handled the exterior concept and Pulina Exclusive Interiors that designed the interior with American walnut floors and white lacquered oak walls worked with slats.
The upper deck is totally dedicated to the owner, with two wide outside lounges: a spa-pool with sundeck and fitness area at the bow while at the stern a bright «al fresco dining». Reserved to the owner there is also a master suite with large volumes and windows with a 180° sea view.
Dedicated to the twelve guests there are six suites: one is on the main deck forward, the other three are on the lower one. They are full-beam large and offer the comfort reserved for distinguished guests and have a hyper-equipped gymnasium with everything you may need to stay fit and healthy even in the middle of the sea. An elevator, lounge areas, a beach club, a small beach platform and a pair of floating docks, plus 15 crew members, ensure comfort that admits of no exceptions when Rio 62 m is moored at anchor.
In the bathrooms they chose Crema d’Orcia and Calacatta Vagli Oro marbles; the more colorful and intense shades of Azul Macauba were preferred for the lounges. Irish Green has been selected for the American bars in the outdoor areas.
Rio 62 m offers more than just the magic of a villa at anchor resting on the crystal clear waters of a bay. The latest of CRN’s home-grown creatures is able to provide great comfort while sailing as well.
And if the top speed does not exceed 15 miles per hour, at 12 knots the two Cat 3512C Acert 1230 kW engines guarantee this 1,218 gross tons megayacht a range of 4,500 miles thanks to the 140 thousand liters of fuel the tanks can hold.
