Upholding the comfort on Ahpo are Italian design and German engineering.
This 115-meter, five-deck yacht was launched in 2021 by Lürssen. Ahpo was registered in the exclusive club of 61 gigayachts worldwide that are over 100 meters.
On the outside, the black carbon lines created by the Nuvolari Lenard studio design: this boat borrows sports car shapes, chosen to enchant her owner Michael Lee Chin.
The hull is made of steel and the decks are in aluminum, to combine performance and strength. Despite her size and the large space in the bow where the owner’s private helicopter is kept, Ahpo can easily sail at 18 knots.
Inside, the soft curves of the furnishings are the hallmark of the family and of a fitness-dedicated comfort, with a superior gym on the sky-lounge deck and a wellness area on the lower deck. Seven suites and 36 crew members are the numbers that explain the sought-after care the 14 guests can benefit from.
Ahpo, like all Lürssen yachts, was designed to navigate long routes. She is equipped with generators that, besides performing their traditional function, can supply waste heat to a recovery system used to warm up the pool water: a little environment-friendly expedient contributing to lower electricity usage and emissions.
Dynamic positioning allows safe mooring with electronic anchoring at any sea depth, leaving the seabed undisturbed.
